JPNM and MatISSE workshop with stakeholders
With this workshop the JPNM opens its doors to a wider audience than just its participants, inviting representatives of other nuclear energy, energy and materials technology platforms, including materials manufacturers.
The goal is to establish a dialogue between the JPNM and the stake-holders.
When: Wednesday 17-06-2015 08:30 - Wednesday 17-06-2015 16:00
Where: CVR, Řež, Czech Republic
In the morning the key materials issues that concern the ESNII systems, which the JPNM supports, will be presented by representatives of the four ESNII projects, namely ASTRID, MYRRHA, ALFRED and ALLEGRO. Later the current activities within the different subprogrammes of the JPNM will be illustrated by the subprogramme coordinators.

After lunch, a panel-discussion with the stake-holders will follow, with the following topics:
“What can industrial material manufacturers offer and what do they need from public research organisations to develop innovative materials capable of facing the challenges of GenIV nuclear reactors? Are there cross-cutting issues with other nuclear and non-nuclear technologies? Which nuclear infrastructures for materials testing and qualification are available?”
