Second Workshop Energy Materials for Innovation (EM4I) Workshop series – From Lab to Engineering

Starting in Summer 2021, the EERA Joint Programme on Advanced Materials and Processes for Energy Applications (JP AMPEA), together with the EERA Joint Programme on Nuclear Materials (JP NM) and the transversal Joint Programme Digitalisation for Energy (tJP DfE), started a workshop series on "Energy Materials for Innovation (EM4I)". The series covers the integral stages of materials research, from discovery to scale-up productions, device development, industrial integration and sustainability, as well as cross-cutting technologies supporting these actions. The second Workshop taking place 5 and 6 October will focus on "How to bring innovative ideas and products from the lab to the engineering scale?", which is a crucial step of the transition to a future sustainable energy system.
